RMWB WASTE WATER TREATMENT PLANT
Touring the Waste of a Region
RMWB Municipal Services Showcase
Part of a project commissioned by The Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo to showcase municipal services, we spent an morning at the regional waste water treatment plant. While it doesn't seems like the most exciting place on the face of the project, it was incredibly interesting and opened our eyes to the vast amount of knowledge that waste water treatment engineers have to hold to keep your community safe and clean.
From raw sewage vats to sparking scientific labs, the process that waste water goes through in RMWB is extensive and their use of grey water for industrial needs is one of the most innovative practices in North American wastewater treatment.
